The Governor of Sweida Calls for Prioritizing Reason and Opening Up to Reconciliation Between Tribes and the People of the Province

The Governor of Sweida, Dr. Mustafa Al-Bakur, called today, Friday, for prioritizing reason, tolerance, and opening up to reconciliation initiatives between the tribes and the people of Sweida.
In a statement published by the Sweida Governorate via Telegram, Al-Bakur said: "Based on our national and social responsibility, and in order to enhance civil peace and reinforce the values of brotherhood and cooperation among the components of our noble society, we affirm the importance of serious efforts to reconcile and unite hearts between the tribes and the people of Sweida, ensuring unity and preserving the national fabric from any threats of discord or division."
The governor also praised the wise positions that initiate reconciliation, elevate dialogue, and prioritize the public interest over narrow considerations. He emphasized that civil peace is not an option, but a national and moral necessity, and it is the cornerstone of any developmental or reform project.
