Governor of Al-Suwayda, Dr. Mustafa Al-Bakour, announced today, Thursday, that the police leadership has been directed to activate police departments in the province. He stated that the number of officers reached approximately 100 officers, and the number of personnel is 2100 personnel from both old and new cadres. Al-Bakour explained that the activation included four main departments: the city department, the external department (which includes the areas of Al-Mazraa, Al-Mashnaaf, and Al-Thaala), the Salhadd department (which includes the areas of Malih, Al-Qarya, Al-Ghariyah, and Dheiben), and the Shahba department (which includes the areas of Al-Soura, Areqa, and Shaqa). Additionally, the criminal security and traffic branches, as well as the administrative branches at the leadership level, were activated. Dr. Al-Bakour called on residents to cooperate with the security agencies, pledging continuous work to enhance security and stability in the province.
