Today, Wednesday, Syrian President Ahmed Al-Shara issued Decree No. (112) for the year 2025 establishing an economic entity in Syria called the Development Fund, with legal personality, financial and administrative independence, headquartered in Damascus, and linked to the presidency.
The establishment of the Fund, according to the decree, aims to contribute to the reconstruction, restoration, and development of infrastructure, including everything that supports the daily life of citizens such as services and facilities like roads, bridges, water networks, electricity, airports, ports, communication networks, and others, financing multiple projects through interest-free loans.
