The Public Authority for Social Insurance has completed the disbursement of retirement pensions.

Director of the General Organization for Social Insurance in Syria, Hassan Khatib, confirmed that the institution has completed the disbursement of retirement pensions for the month of March in all provinces. The institution is working on finalizing the lists received from post office branches to be able to process the grant and transfer it to its beneficiaries accordingly. In a statement to "SANA," Khatib explained that the institution has assigned the Deir ez-Zor branch to distribute salaries for employees of the social insurance branches in Hasakah and Qamishli for the months of January, February, March, and April, in addition to a grant totaling 166 million Syrian pounds. Coordination will be made between the directors of the Deir ez-Zor and Hasakah branches to ensure the salaries reach the beneficiaries. Regarding retirement pensions in Hasakah and Qamishli, Khatib clarified that pensions for the months of January, February, March, and the grant have been processed, with the number of pensions exceeding 26,000, totaling around 27 billion Syrian pounds.
