Final Launch of the First Division Basketball League between Al-Wahda and Al-Ahli Aleppo in a Fiery Encounter

Syrian basketball courts witness the start of the most exciting final in the men's first division league, as Al-Wahda, the title holder, meets its traditional rival Al-Ahli Aleppo on Sunday, June 22. Al-Ahli Aleppo is the second most successful team in the league with twenty championships.
The first game of the final series, which could extend to five games, will be hosted by Al-Ahli Aleppo at Al-Jalaa Club in Aleppo on the coming Sunday and Tuesday, before moving to Damascus for the third and fourth games at Al-Fayhaa Hall. If the teams are tied, the decisive game will be held at Nasih Alawani Hall in Hama at the end of this month.
Al-Wahda reached the final after a strong performance, finishing on top of their group in the first round with six consecutive victories, before overcoming Al-Hurriya and Al-Jalaa in the knockout stages.
As for Al-Ahli Aleppo, they faced a more challenging path, encountering a tough challenge against Al-Karama in the semifinals, which led them to play three crucial matches to secure their spot in the final, adding a dramatic touch to the encounter.
The match brings together two teams with a rich history in the championship, with Al-Ahli Aleppo leading the champions list with twenty titles, while Al-Wahda holds eleven titles.
