Kuwait's Amir Begins First Official Visit to France to Enhance Bilateral Cooperation in Politics, Defense, and Economy

Kuwait's Amir, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, began an official visit to Paris today, Sunday, his first since taking office, accompanied by a high-level government delegation.
The visit comes amid escalating regional tensions, especially the war in Gaza and the strikes between Iran and Israel.
The Elysee Palace stated that the visit aims to enhance bilateral cooperation in politics, defense, and economy, coinciding with Kuwait's presidency of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
The Amir is expected to participate in the French military parade on July 14 and meet with French President Emmanuel Macron at an official working lunch.
