The commander of the Eighth Brigade, Naseem Abu Ara, denied what was said by the Minister of Defense in the Syrian caretaker government regarding the brigade's refusal to integrate into the Ministry of Defense.

In a recorded video that appeared on the "Daraa24" page on Monday, 10/02/2025, Abu Ara stated that the people of the south were the first to call for the establishment of a national defense ministry that operates according to disciplined military rules, representing all components of Syria without exclusion, and benefiting from the experiences of officers and free revolutionaries to ensure the country's security and stability.

Abu Ara emphasized in his statement that law and justice are the foundation of building a new Syria, and that no party can exceed these principles, affirming that the success of the revolution requires maintaining unity and joint action for a future worthy of the sacrifices of the martyrs and the wounded.

Finally, he reiterated his commitment to working with the Damascus leadership to build a free, unified, and strong Syria, calling for unity and cooperation to achieve the revolution's goals and ensure a better future for all Syrians.
