The Syrian Ministry of Education announced today the start of operations to transfer the financial entitlements for teachers working in Al-Hasakah province, after completing the data of their accounts through the electronic payment service 'Sham Cash', in a step aimed at speeding up the payment of wages and ensuring the rights of educational staff.

Fawaz Al-Aqram, the financial official in the ministry, explained that the delay witnessed in the payment operations during the past period was due to incomplete data of the teachers' accounts on the 'Sham Cash' platform, confirming that the ministry has worked to address these gaps to ensure that entitlements are delivered fairly and systematically.

In a previous statement on July 30, 2025, Al-Aqram indicated that the ministry had started months ago organizing the financial schedules for the staff of the Al-Hasakah Education Directorate, with the wages for the months of April, May, June, and July to be paid consecutively, alongside the presidential grant provided by the president.

Al-Aqram confirmed that adopting the 'Sham Cash' service as a means of disbursing entitlements comes as part of achieving fairness in distribution and providing a secure and transparent mechanism that ensures wages and grants reach their rightful recipients without delay or manipulation.

This step is part of the ministry's efforts to update payment systems and improve the financial services provided to educational staff, especially in areas facing logistical and administrative challenges.
