The Syrian Civil Defense stated today, Wednesday, that 28 days have passed since the kidnapping of volunteer Hamza Al-Amarin while performing a humanitarian mission in Sweida by a local armed group.
They called through their Telegram channel for his immediate release, saying: "We hold the military factions controlling the city responsible for his safety."
They added: "We urge the international community and human rights organizations to take immediate action to pressure for Hamza's release and to hold those responsible for this violation accountable."
They further stated: "Humanitarian work is not a crime, and the kidnapping of Hamza is an assault on humanity as a whole."
