The Central Authority for Control and Inspection Reveals a Scandal of Educational Corruption in a Private Syrian University

According to the official report, the violations involved granting forged university degrees based on incorrect exam papers, benefiting influential individuals, the children of officials, and drug dealers.
The authority referred all those responsible for the forgery process, in addition to 14 students, to the competent judiciary, issuing a decision to revoke the degrees granted to them.
The authority also requested the Ministry of Finance to impose a precautionary seizure on the assets of the university owners to ensure the payment of an amount of 1.448 billion Syrian pounds, after violations related to the number of registered students were proven, according to what the investigation mission concluded.
