The British Mission to Syria expressed its support for the Syrian Civil Defense and all humanitarian workers in the country today, Tuesday.
On the occasion of World Humanitarian Day, the mission stated via the "X" platform: "The United Kingdom will continue to advocate for humanitarian aid access, protection, and accountability," emphasizing that targeting relief workers is a violation of international law.
It is noteworthy that the British government announced on the fifth of this month the sending of a package of humanitarian aid to more than 85,000 people in Syria to support humanitarian needs.
