The Khalifa ship for humanitarian aid set sail this morning, Monday, from Khalifa Port "Kizad" in Abu Dhabi, as the eighth Khalifa ship within the operation "Al Fares Al Shahem 3", heading to the port of Al-Arish in Egypt.
Sending the ship is a prelude to delivering its shipment of relief aid to the Gaza Strip, as part of the continuous humanitarian support provided by the UAE to the Palestinians.
The Khalifa ship 8 is the largest humanitarian aid ship sent by the UAE so far, with a total capacity of 7166 tons of various food, medical, and relief aid.
The cargo includes 4372 tons of food, 1433 tons of shelter materials, 860 tons of medical supplies, and 501 tons of health materials, bringing the total aid sent to the Gaza Strip to 77.266 tons.
