The Asian Football Confederation today announced the date and location of the upcoming match of the Syrian national team in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers against Afghanistan at the Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi Stadium in Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia, as the virtual home ground for the Afghan team, in the second round of qualifiers. The match will take place at 8:00 PM Damascus time on Tuesday, the 10th of June. Syria won their first qualifier match against Pakistan with a score of 2-0 in Group F.
