Arab League Condemns Israeli Raids on Syria

The Arab League condemned in the strongest terms the raids carried out by the Israeli occupation on Syria today, Wednesday.

Its statement said: "We consider these raids a blatant violation of the sovereignty of a member state of the Arab League and the United Nations," adding: "These attacks constitute a violation of international law and a disregard for the rules of the international system."

The League affirmed that "the occupation's attacks are an aggression that the regional or international community cannot accept or tolerate," noting that the occupation's raids aim to sow chaos in Syria.

It added: "We declare our full solidarity with Syria against these attacks and urge the Syrian government to swiftly defuse the situation."
