The Launch of the Twentieth Arab Conference for Civil Protection in Baghdad with the Participation of Syria

The conference discusses a range of vital issues related to emergency management, environmental pollution risks, and enhancing Arab coordination in facing disasters and major incidents, in addition to exchanging experiences and practices among civil defense agencies in the participating countries.
Proposals for Developing Arab Cooperation in Emergency Situations
The agenda of the conference includes discussing a proposal to establish the Arab Center for Coordinating Field Cooperation in Emergency Situations, as well as studying the establishment of an electronic platform for exchanging information and experiences among civil protection agencies, which contributes to improving response efficiency and enhancing joint preparedness.
Participants also presented a vision for implementing a joint Arab field exercise aimed at testing the capabilities of civil defense teams in dealing with disasters and improving field coordination among countries.

The conference includes the participation of heads of civil protection agencies and representatives from the ministries of interior in Arab countries, alongside delegations from:
