Thailand announces the killing of 4 in a shooting incident.. Investigations look into possible link to Cambodia

Four security guards were killed, and another person was injured, following a shooting incident that took place on Monday, July 28, in a popular market in the Thai capital Bangkok, as announced by the local police.
Warawut Sokthai, deputy chief of police in the Bang Sue district, reported that the incident occurred at the Or Tor Kor market near the Chatuchak area, which experiences heavy congestion during the weekend. He added: "The police are investigating the motive, and so far it is related to a shooting incident".
Sokthai confirmed that the shooter committed suicide after the crime, indicating that investigations are ongoing to determine his identity and establish a possible link to the ongoing border clashes between Thailand and Cambodia.
It is worth noting that shooting incidents are not uncommon in Thailand, where firearms are relatively accessible to the public.
