Technical malfunction forces a ship heading to Israel to stop, and Turkey intervenes to tow it

A technical malfunction occurred on a cargo ship flying the flag of Vanuatu, heading from Bulgaria to Israel, while passing through the Dardanelles Strait off the Turkish coast, which necessitated the intervention of the Turkish Coast Guard to tow it to safety.
According to the "Sputnik" agency from the General Directorate of Coastal Safety in Turkey, the ship named IRONHIDE, measuring 78 meters in length, stopped near the Karanfel head due to a malfunction in its engine.
Immediately, emergency maritime teams moved in and managed to tow the ship safely to the Karanklik dock, without affecting maritime traffic in the strait, which is considered one of the busiest maritime passages in the world.
No reports of damage or injuries on board the ship have been received, while authorities continue to monitor its technical condition to ensure its readiness before allowing it to resume its journey.
