According to media sources, "The protest was held in rejection of the Israeli forces' incursion into villages and towns in the Golan Heights region."
The sources also stated, "The protest was also a condemnation of recent Israeli statements, particularly those made by Netanyahu regarding southern Syria."
Simultaneously, the city of Sweida witnessed protests denouncing the statements of the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which angered the residents and prompted them to participate in condemning those statements.
