A security source said that the Syrian security forces detonated war remnants today, Tuesday, as part of a training exercise in Damascus, leading to the sound of an explosion being heard in various parts of the capital.

A source from the Syrian General Security Directorate confirmed that no injuries occurred in the explosion, which was carried out in a controlled manner.

Earlier today, residents of the capital heard a loud explosion and saw a column of smoke rising in the western neighborhoods of the city.
