Syrian Researcher Maher Abdul Hadi Achieves Outstanding Academic Success in Turkey with a 95% Honors Degree

Syrian researcher Maher Abdul Hadi (31 years old) has achieved a remarkable academic accomplishment by obtaining a high honors degree in the Master's program specializing in "Global Security and International Politics" from Kutahya Dumlupinar University in Turkey, with a GPA of 3.8 out of 4 (equivalent to 95%).
In a special statement to "Syria TV" through a recorded video, Abdul Hadi said: "There must be challenges that motivate us to achieve and create meaning in this journey, so one must attempt, take the first step, and keep your eyes on the end goal".
Abdul Hadi hails from Eastern Ghouta in Damascus and completed about 20 academic research papers during his time in Turkey, culminating in a perfect score in his Master's thesis titled: "The Role of Organizational Design of Intelligence Institutions in Shaping Foreign Policy".
Regarding his thesis, he explained that it is: "A comparative study among the United States, Russia, Israel, and Turkey, in light of artificial intelligence technologies, with a slightly complex title, a multidisciplinary research that aims to shed light on the organizational structures of leading intelligence agencies, and their connection to shaping foreign policy and the role of artificial intelligence technologies in that process".
He added that the research: "Attempts to integrate the quadrants of politics, security, management, and technology, hoping that its results will represent added value in the academic field and contribute to the building process of our beloved country Syria, especially in light of the significant importance of comparative studies in the post-war period, drawing inspiration from the approach of the Pakistani nuclear scientist Abdul Qadeer Khan in transferring experiences and not reinventing the wheel".
It is worth mentioning that Abdul Hadi was arrested in 2011 for his participation in anti-Syrian regime protests, which forced him to interrupt his studies for years, during which he lived under siege conditions in Eastern Ghouta before moving to Turkey, where he continued his academic journey by obtaining an honors degree in Economics and Administrative Sciences from Aksaray University.
Regarding the challenges he faced, he said: "Combining my two Master's degrees (International Relations and Business Administration) was the biggest challenge, as sometimes I would go to exams without sleep due to conflicting schedules, but I do not recommend that".
He also spoke about the difficulties of balancing work, family, and studies at a later age, emphasizing that studying in a foreign language was a major challenge: "During my Bachelor's, I thought about transferring to a university that teaches in Arabic, but I decided to be patient and gradually overcome the language barrier".
Abdul Hadi is currently studying in another Master's program specializing in "Management and Organization" at Ataturk University, and is preparing a thesis on "Governmental Strategic Planning in Turkey and Syria". He concluded his speech with advice to students:"You must start, and it is up to the Lord of the Worlds to complete it", citing the poetic verse: "Do not think that glory is a passing cloud ** You will not reach glory until you taste patience".
