Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa in his first visit to Jordan.
Jordan's King Abdullah II received Syrian President Ahmed Al-Shar'a today, Wednesday, 26/02/2025, upon his arrival at Marka Airport in an official visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
According to the Royal Court statement, President Al-Shar'a was welcomed by Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad, the King's Chief Advisor for Religious and Cultural Affairs and his personal envoy, along with Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi, and the King's Office Director, Engineer Ala'a Batayneh.
Accompanying the Syrian President on his visit is Foreign and Expatriates Minister Asaad Al-Shaaban and a number of Syrian officials. Talks will be held with King Abdullah II and Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II at the Royal Basman Palace in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
