Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Marwan Al-Halabi, confirmed that the ministry has received over 14,000 electronic applications for admission to postgraduate studies and the unified selection process for medical colleges for the current academic year 2024-2025, explaining that applications were submitted through the official platform designated for admissions. In a special statement to SANA agency, Al-Halabi explained that the ministry is currently conducting a comprehensive electronic verification of these applications, based on precise and clear criteria, to ensure the application of the principles of justice, equal opportunities, and transparency in the admission process. The minister pointed out that the work focuses on two main selection processes: * Academic Master's and Specialization Diplomas Selection * Unified Selection for Medical Colleges He emphasized that the technical teams are simultaneously monitoring the progress of both selection processes, and it is expected that the results of both selections will be announced together or sequentially, depending on the level of technical verification required for each. Dr. Al-Halabi stressed that the ministry prioritizes the principles of equal opportunities, justice, and transparency, urging all applicants to understand the approved technical and administrative procedures. He also confirmed that the specialized teams are working around the clock to complete the selections efficiently and promptly, without compromising the quality or accuracy of the results. The ministries of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Health had announced the two selections on April 16, 2025, with the application period initially open from April 21 to April 29, later extended until May 12, allowing more opportunities for those interested in participating.
