Syrian Minister of Transport, Dr. Yarob Badr, received two separate phone calls on Thursday from the Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloglu, and the Qatari Minister of Transport, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Thani.

During the calls, they expressed their countries' support for the efforts made by the Syrian Ministry of Transport to develop all types and levels of land transport services.

Discussions during the calls included the possibility of holding bilateral ministerial meetings after the Eid al-Adha holiday, aiming to enhance mutual cooperation, improve transport services for Syrian citizens, and explore ways to reconnect land transport networks in Syria and neighboring countries to boost transit traffic and goods exchange through Syrian territories.

Minister Badr emphasized Syria's keenness on openness and cooperation with sister Arab countries in the transport sector, contributing to economic development and regional integration, highlighting the importance of transport in enhancing trade and logistical links between countries.
