Minister of Religious Endowments in Syria, Mohammad Abu Al-Khair Shakri, stated today, Tuesday, that the success of this year's Hajj season is a pivotal milestone in Syria's new journey and will form a solid foundation for future Hajj seasons. The minister, as reported by "SANA," mentioned that the situation in Syria has influenced the spiritual feelings of the pilgrims, especially since this is the first Hajj after liberation and departure from Damascus following years of interruption, giving them a sense of freedom and dignity. He emphasized that one of the key factors for success was the rapid and effective communication, especially between the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the Syrian Ministry of Endowments. The minister concluded by saying: "The slogan of this season, 'Praise be to Allah,' was embodied spiritually and practically, achieved through success in serving the pilgrims and ensuring their comfort through a team working for more than 20 hours daily to address any obstacles."
