In statements to the Syrian "Al-Ikhbariya" channel, the minister said: "The investment climate will escalate after the lifting of sanctions and will have positive effects on various aspects of life."

Mustafa added: "Many social and political issues are linked to daily life and economic improvement."

He pointed out the Syrians' expertise in various fields "and they will seize the opportunity to rebuild their country," emphasizing that lifting sanctions is a significant transformation and a new chapter in the country's history.

The minister confirmed that these sanctions were not an external issue but an internal matter affecting the lives of Syrians.

Yesterday, Tuesday, President Donald Trump lifted the sanctions imposed on Syria during his visit to Saudi Arabia.

Trump said: "I have decided to lift the sanctions on Syria and give it a new opportunity."
