The Syrian Minister of Public Works and Housing, Engineer Mustafa Abdul Razzaq, met today, Wednesday, with the Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Oğlu, and the accompanying delegation, to discuss enhancing mutual cooperation between the two countries in the ministry's work field.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed topics related to road works, transportation, infrastructure preparation for roads, and the possibility of serving the joint international roads with Turkey according to global standards.

Abdul Razzaq highlighted the ongoing work to rehabilitate the Rastan Bridge and the possibility of building a new bridge due to its vital importance in connecting northern Syria with its south. He emphasized the importance of the Turkish delegation's visit for the benefit of both sides, stressing the necessity of exchanging technical expertise between the two ministries and visits by joint technical teams.

On his part, Minister Oğlu mentioned the possibility of providing all services related to joint work between the two ministries, and discussed the mechanism of joint cooperation, monitoring land and sea roads, and improving their condition.
