The Syrian Minister of Justice calls on judges who have defected from the Assad regime to join the ministry.

The Syrian Minister of Justice, Mazhar Al-Wais, has invited the judges who defected from the previous regime and were unable to apply to join the ministry due to their circumstances, to submit their applications for the possibility of addressing their situations like their colleagues.
Al-Wais confirmed in a post on platform X that the door is still open to them, and the Ministry of Justice welcomes their applications whenever circumstances allow, to ensure addressing their situations in accordance with legal principles.
Regarding the judges currently working in the courts of the formerly liberated areas (Aleppo, Raqqa, and Idlib) who are still performing their judicial duties, Al-Wais emphasized that their situations will be fully addressed within the framework of integrating their courts into the new Syrian justice institutions, ensuring the preservation of all their rights, including ranks and job grades, once the integration process is complete, which is currently ongoing.
Al-Wais concluded his post by thanking all the judges for their efforts, wishing them continued success in serving justice and the nation.
