Syrian Finance Minister Mohammad Yasar Barinia confirmed on Friday that developing the insurance sector is of great interest, and enhancing and updating it is a priority.
According to "SANA," Minister Barinia pointed to the meetings held in recent days with the Insurance Supervisory Authority and representatives of the Syrian Union of Insurance Companies to develop the sector, emphasizing that there will be upcoming meetings and workshops on this matter.
Minister Barinia stressed that the focus today is on advancing the insurance sector in Syria to meet the requirements of the coming phase, explaining that there are many proposals and ideas that need to be crystallized in a national action plan to update the insurance system.
