The Syrian Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management, Raed Al-Saleh, said today, Saturday, that we are closely monitoring with the field teams of the Syrian Civil Defense and firefighting brigades the developments of the large forest fire that broke out in the Masyaf area in the countryside of Hama.
In a tweet on "Twitter", he added: "We continue to provide logistical support to the region and coordinate with ministries to limit the spread of fires amidst the great difficulties facing the teams, hindering their access and the access of firefighting vehicles to the multiple fire spots due to the difficult mountainous terrain in the area and the spread of fires due to the winds".
