The Minister of Education in the Syrian Arab Republic, Dr. Mohammad Abdul Rahman Turkom, accompanied by Hama Governor Abdul Rahman Al-Sahyan, conducted an inspection tour today of a number of exam centers in the cities of Hama and Mahardah to monitor the progress of the 2025 Basic Education Certificate exams.

During the visit, Minister Turkom praised the good organization of work inside the exam halls, noting that the ministry reviewed a sample of answer sheets in coordination with the guidance offices, where it was noted that over 80% of the answers were correct, which he described as a "promising indicator."

He also commended the efforts of Hama Governorate and the cooperation between directorates and relevant institutions to ensure the smooth conduct of exams, especially in securing student transportation.

During the tour, the Minister listened to parents' impressions of the exams, expressing his wishes for success to the students, affirming that the outcomes of these exams will contribute to preparing an educated generation capable of contributing to the reconstruction of Syria.

In turn, Governor Al-Sahyan confirmed that the exams are proceeding smoothly, indicating that the exam operations room is working to resolve any obstacles that students or their families may face to ensure the smooth running of the exam process.

Accompanying the Minister and the Governor during the tour were the Deputy Minister of Education, Yousef Anan, the Governor's Assistant for Educational Affairs, Hassan Al-Hasan, and the Director of Education in Hama, Ahmed Al-Madloosh.
