The Syrian Minister of Education and the head of the monitoring authority discuss enhancing transparency mechanisms and the quality of education.

Syrian Minister of Education Dr. Mohammad Abdul Rahman Turkou met today, Sunday, June 15, with the head of the Central Authority for Monitoring and Inspection, Engineer Amer Al-Ali, to discuss ways to enhance mutual cooperation in developing internal control mechanisms within the ministry, in support of transparency, integrity, and the quality of the educational process in Syria.
During the meeting held at the ministry's headquarters in Damascus, Minister Turkou affirmed that the ministry is "ready to provide all facilitations to support the efforts of the authority in combating corruption," praising "the role of monitoring in achieving transparency, accountability, integrity, efficiency, and enhancing competence."
On his part, Engineer Amer Al-Ali noted that the authority "is working on restructuring its legal and institutional framework in line with the leadership's vision to develop monitoring work and achieve institutional goals."
