The Syrian Minister of Economy Discusses Ways to Enhance Cooperation with the Atlantic Council

The Syrian Minister of Economy and Industry, Mohammad Nidal al-Shahr, discussed today, Monday, with a delegation from the Atlantic Council for Research, ways to expand cooperation and exchange experiences in economic and industrial fields.

The meeting also addressed opportunities to develop partnerships on issues of mutual interest, contributing to supporting economic growth and enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy, in addition to expanding areas of international cooperation.

During the meeting, Minister al-Shahr emphasized that this meeting comes within the framework of the ministry's commitment to building bridges of cooperation with global research and intellectual institutions, which enhances the position of the Syrian economy on the international stage and supports its directions towards innovation and sustainability.

It is worth noting that the Atlantic Council is a prestigious research institution in international affairs, comprising ten regional centers and programs concerned with international security and global economic prosperity, and it provides a forum for dialogue that brings together politicians, business leaders, and thinkers from around the world.
