Syrian Interior Ministry issues a clarification regarding the Israeli incursion into a village in the countryside of Damascus.

The Syrian Ministry of Interior issued a statement detailing the recent Israeli incursion into the village of Beit Jinn in the countryside of Damascus. The statement revealed that "amidst the ongoing repeated violations committed by the Israeli occupation forces, military forces affiliated with the Israeli occupation, consisting of tanks, armored vehicles, and infantry vehicles, accompanied by reconnaissance drones, infiltrated the village of Beit Jinn in the Qatana area of rural Damascus." The statement added that "the occupying force carried out raids and arrests targeting several civilians, resulting in the abduction of seven individuals. This escalation was accompanied by direct gunfire at the villagers, leading to the death of one civilian. The abducted individuals were taken into the occupied territories, and their fate remains unknown at this moment." The statement emphasized that "these repeated provocations constitute a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the Syrian Arab Republic, a clear breach of international laws and conventions, and practices that will not lead the region to stability, but rather escalate tension and unrest."
