Syrian Interior Minister After Meeting His Turkish Counterpart: We Discussed Issues Affecting Our People

The Syrian Interior Minister Anas Khattab conducted an official visit to Turkey today, Monday, where he met with his Turkish counterpart Ali Yerlikaya and the Vice President of Turkey, Cevdet Yılmaz, to discuss the common issues between the two countries.

In a post on "X", Khattab said: "After our fruitful meeting with His Excellency the Turkish Interior Minister Mr. Ali Yerlikaya, I had the honor of meeting His Excellency the Vice President of Turkey Mr. Cevdet Yılmaz, who welcomed us with great warmth and hospitality."

Khattab added: "The meeting witnessed an in-depth discussion covering many important issues that affect our people and contribute to achieving stability and enhancing joint cooperation between the two countries."

Earlier today, the Syrian Ministry of Interior stated that the meeting discussed several files, most notably enhancing joint cooperation between the two ministries, developing security coordination, in addition to supporting and developing Syrian security institutions.
