The Syrian Ministry of Interior announced today, Monday, the exemption of Arab and foreign violators whose violation period does not exceed six months from the residency fees owed, provided they regularize their status within a maximum period of 45 days.
The ministry ordered the implementation of the decision published by the Immigration and Passports Department and its branches in the provinces, stating that this step comes based on the provisions of Law No. 2 of 2014 and its amendments, and in accordance with the public interest.
The decision aims to facilitate the situation of violators residing in the country and give them an opportunity to correct their status in accordance with the applicable laws, provided that the specified deadline is adhered to.
