The Syrian Minister of Health discusses with the Fesha Amal Association ways of mutual cooperation in the health sector.

Minister of Health, Dr. Moayad Al-Ali, met today, Wednesday, with a delegation from the Fassahet Amal Association, led by Dr. Marwa Jumaa, to discuss ways to enhance mutual cooperation. Dr. Al-Ali affirmed full readiness to collaborate with the association for the benefit of patients and to improve the healthcare sector in Syria. The ministry will provide all necessary facilitations for the association, especially in matters related to medical practice. Dr. Jumaa mentioned the association's plan to launch a medical campaign next July to perform heart catheterization for 70 children. She also noted the opening of a health center in Deir ez-Zor, ongoing efforts to establish a new center in Talbiseh, Homs, a blood bank, and 14 charitable centers in Aleppo. The association aims to facilitate the return of expatriate doctors to their country in collaboration with relevant organizations, as well as to enhance the capacities of medical staff through continuous training. It is worth mentioning that the Fassahet Amal Association has been operating in Syria for 3 years, based in Canada, and provides medical services in 33 countries.
