Syrian Emergency Minister: A delegation from the ministry visited Iraq to enhance cooperation in emergency response

The Syrian Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management, Raed Saleh, announced today, Monday, that a delegation from the ministry visited Iraq to enhance cooperation in emergency and disaster response between the two countries.
In a post on the "X" platform, Saleh said: "During the visit, we reviewed the experience of the Emergency Response Center 911 to understand its operational mechanisms in emergency management and how it is applied in various regions of Iraq, and visited the emergency and crisis center concerned with risk mitigation and coordination mechanisms between national entities."
He added: "The visit also included the Iraqi General Civil Defense Directorate, and the delegation expressed the gratitude and appreciation of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Iraqi Civil Defense and team leaders for their significant efforts in supporting firefighting operations on the Syrian coast last month."
The minister pointed out that the delegation confirmed that the participation of the Iraqi Civil Defense ground teams represents a noble humanitarian message and embodies the depth of fraternal ties and mutual cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
