Syrian Civil Defense: New Spread of Fires in Northern Latakia Countryside

The Syrian Civil Defense announced on Monday evening a new spread of fires in the Karn Koul and Al-Barakah areas in the Qastal Ma'af district of northern Latakia countryside, with the wind speed intensifying.

The Civil Defense added through its Telegram channel: "As firefighting teams continue their efforts to limit the spread of the fires and prevent them from expanding to new areas in the region, amidst great difficulties due to the lack of fire lines and roads to reach the fire hotspots".
