Syrian-Chinese Meeting in Damascus: Confirmation of Sovereignty and Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation

The Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Asaad Hassan al-Shibani, received today, Saturday, in the capital Damascus, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Syria, Shi Hongwei, as part of enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to develop cooperation in various political, economic, and cultural fields, where the Chinese ambassador emphasized his country's commitment to supporting Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity, stressing the importance of continuing joint coordination to serve the interests of both countries.

This meeting comes amid the growing Syrian-Chinese relations, which are witnessing significant development in the fields of investment, infrastructure, and energy, within the framework of the strategic partnership between the two countries.
