Syria and the United Nations Fund discuss enhancing cooperation in the field of industrial development.

Syrian Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry, Engineer Mohammad Yassin Houria, held a meeting with representatives of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides, focusing on developing industrial infrastructure to support small and medium projects, as well as improving services in industrial areas.
During the meeting, held at the ministry's headquarters, it was agreed to hold joint meetings with representatives from the public and private sectors to study the necessary needs and develop a comprehensive action plan aimed at revitalizing and developing industrial areas, as well as exploring new financing mechanisms for stalled projects.
The meeting was attended by the head of the Syrian Investment Authority, Dr. Ayman Hamwiya.
