Strong winds uproot trees and block roads in Tartous.

The Syrian Civil Defense reported damages caused by strong winds that hit the city of Tartous last night, Tuesday, uprooting several trees, leading to the closure of several roads and disrupting traffic in some areas.
Emergency teams from the Civil Defense immediately worked on removing fallen trees, securing affected sites, and reopening roads to ensure smooth traffic flow and avoid any traffic congestion.
In this context, the Civil Defense warned citizens of the importance of taking precautionary measures during strong winds, emphasizing the need to properly secure solar panels and avoid approaching cracked buildings or large trees that may pose a danger during storms. It also advised against lighting fires in forests or agricultural areas to prevent exacerbating damages.
The Civil Defense continues its efforts to monitor the situation and provide necessary assistance in affected areas, urging everyone to exercise caution and follow guidelines to ensure their safety.
