Soon .. Opening of the Daraa_Al-Ramtha Border Crossing between Syria and Jordan
The engineer, Anwar Al-Zu'bi, the governor of Daraa, announced in a special statement the imminent opening of the old Daraa_Al-Ramtha border crossing with Jordan. The aim is to alleviate the pressure and congestion at the Nasib crossing and to stimulate trade and investment between the two countries.

This came during an official meeting that brought together Al-Zu'bi with the governor of Irbid in Jordan, Radwan Al-Otoum, his assistant, Rami Obeidat, the director of the Jaber border center, and the head of the Chamber of Commerce in the Jordanian province. These steps are aimed at enhancing economic cooperation and expanding the twinning prospects between the two provinces.

Al-Zu'bi emphasized the importance of this joint project, which opens the door to significant facilitation in industrial and commercial investment, providing a valuable opportunity for exchanging experiences between the two sides. He stressed that the Daraa province looks forward to benefiting from this partnership to develop its economic infrastructure and achieve comprehensive developmental progress.

Al-Zu'bi said: "Syria is on the verge of a real renaissance in the coming years, which will place it among the leading countries in the region. Today, we are in urgent need of benefiting from the experiences of our brothers and friends to support this journey."

He added that the Jordanian side has expressed readiness to support the Daraa province with what it needs, especially in establishing industrial and investment zones within the free zones, which will drive the economy in southern Syria forward.

On the other hand, the director of the Jaber border crossing affirmed that his country will consider all the observations presented by the Syrian delegation, especially regarding the issue of truck delays. He emphasized Jordan's commitment to taking all necessary measures to facilitate trade and ease the passage of goods between the two countries.

The Jordanian delegation participating in the meeting expressed their happiness with the visit to Syria and praised the "liberation of the Syrian people from the woes of the outdated regime", emphasizing the close ties and deep relations between the two brotherly peoples.

At the end of the visit, the Jordanian delegation took a field tour with the governor of Daraa, which included the Omari Mosque, the cradle of the Syrian revolution, in addition to a visit to the archaeological city of Bosra, where they explored its historical landmarks and ancient ruins.
