Al-Shar'a discusses bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed

The Qatari News Agency reported today, Monday, that Syrian President Ahmed Al-Shar'a discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, during his official visit to the UAE.

The agency added that the two sides discussed cooperation in economic and developmental fields that serve the interests of both countries, and emphasized the importance of supporting security and stability in the Middle East region.

According to the agency, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed affirmed the UAE's support for Syria and its people's aspirations, while President Al-Shar'a expressed his appreciation for the UAE's supportive positions towards Syria and its keenness to enhance relations.

The Syrian delegation included Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaaban and a number of officials.
