Local sources in Sweida province reported that several individuals from the province were kidnapped near the town of Basr al-Harir in the eastern countryside of Daraa.

According to the sources, the kidnapping incident occurred as they were returning from the funeral procession of the singer Qasim al-Jamous.

Among the kidnapped were identified Jamal al-Shoufi and Wadi Khaddaj, while the others remain unknown so far.
It is worth mentioning that, up to this moment, no information has been received about the party responsible for the incident.

It is noteworthy that the singer Qasim al-Jamous passed away on the evening of Monday, March 3, as a result of a tragic accident on the Bloudan road.

Qasim, a short while ago, was present in Karama Square in the city of Sweida, spreading his voice and songs in all provinces, from Idlib in the north to Sweida in the south, singing for the homeland, for freedom, and trying to unite Syrians with his words.
