Second Degree Weather Warnings for Severe Weather in China Following Heavy Rainstorms

Heavy rainfall continues in various regions of China, which has resulted in the death of 4 people and injuries to others, and work and study have been suspended in several cities, including Kaohsiung, Tainan, and Pingdong, as confirmed by the Xinhua News Agency.
In light of the storm's expansion over the country's regions, the National Meteorological Center issued an orange alert today, Monday, representing the second degree of high severity after the red alert, to address rainstorms, warning of heavy rainfall in vast areas across the country.
The alerts included that from 2 PM today, Monday, to 2 PM tomorrow, Tuesday, heavy rains will sweep through parts of Qinghai, Gansu, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Liaoning, Henan, Shandong, Guangxi, Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macau, Fujian, Yunnan, and Taiwan, according to the center.
It is also expected that areas in Hebei, Guangxi, Guangdong, and the coastal provinces in eastern China will experience heavy rainfall reaching up to 350 millimeters per hour. Some areas may witness short-term heavy rainfall reaching up to 80 millimeters per hour, accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds.
