The Saudi Foreign Minister discusses with the American envoy to Damascus steps to support Syria both humanitarily and economically.

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met in Riyadh today, Wednesday, with the US Special Envoy to Syria Tom Barak to discuss steps to support Syria on both humanitarian and economic levels.

The Saudi Press Agency "SPA" reported that the two sides also discussed ways to provide assistance and support to the Syrian people in this crucial stage.

The Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Abdullah bin Amer Al-Sawahah, held a virtual meeting with the Syrian Minister of Communications and Technology, Abdul Salam Hikl, to discuss the prospects of partnership in the field of digital economy, in line with the Kingdom's efforts to support and empower the future of Syria.

During the meeting, they discussed enhancing the digital infrastructure to support sustainable development paths, align with growth and prosperity aspirations in Syria. The meeting also discussed the integration between the two countries, exchanging knowledge and experiences to enhance innovation, empower youth, entrepreneurs, and prepare them for regional and global competition.
