Saudi Arabia .. Execution of 17 death sentences in just three days

The Saudi authorities executed, today Monday, the death sentence against Saudi citizens convicted of terrorism-related charges.

With this, the number of executions carried out in just three days reaches 17 cases, the majority of which are against foreigners convicted of drug trafficking.


The Saudi Press Agency "SPA" reported that "the execution took place in the holy city of Mecca, against two individuals convicted of joining terrorist organizations and shooting at security personnel with intent to kill, in addition to manufacturing and possessing explosives."

This comes after the announcement last night, Sunday, of the execution of a Somali and five Ethiopians in the Najran region, southern the kingdom, after being convicted of trafficking in hashish.

Additionally, on Saturday, eight people were executed in one day, including seven foreigners who were also executed in Najran, in similar cases.
