The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its deep concern regarding the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC), which officially declared a state of famine in the Gaza Strip, warning of the worsening humanitarian disaster amid the ongoing blockade and war.
The ministry strongly condemned the crimes of genocide committed by the Israeli occupation army against unarmed civilians, affirming that these repeated violations represent a flagrant violation of human rights and international laws.
Riyadh confirmed that the continuation of this crisis is directly related to the absence of deterrent and accountability mechanisms regarding the crimes of occupation, warning that the inaction of the international community, especially the permanent members of the Security Council, is a stain on the conscience of humanity.
Saudi Arabia called on the international community to take immediate and urgent action to stop the famine and end the war that threatens the lives of millions of civilians in Gaza, demanding an immediate halt to all forms of violence and aggression against the Palestinian people.
