Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, in his speech during the emergency ministerial meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation held in Jeddah, affirmed the Kingdom's condemnation of the recent Israeli statements regarding what is known as the 'Greater Israel Vision', stressing that these statements represent a continuation of Israeli violations that undermine the foundations of the international system.
Bin Farhan pointed out that the increasing number of countries recognizing the State of Palestine reflects a broad international rejection of Israeli practices, welcoming the growing international consensus to support the two-state solution as the best way to achieve just and comprehensive peace.
The Saudi Foreign Minister called on the international community to take urgent action to stop the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against civilians in Gaza, while also urging Israel to release the Palestinian tax funds that are being held illegally.
He also emphasized that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will continue to support the Palestinian people and urges the international community to unite efforts to enhance their resilience and build their national institutions.
