Saudi Arabia has announced the success of the Hajj season of 1446 AH, confirming that the comprehensive operational plan facilitated the performance of the rituals for the pilgrims of the Holy Kaaba safely and smoothly. Deputy Emir of the Makkah region, Prince Saud bin Mishal, emphasized that excellence in planning and execution enabled pilgrims to complete the rituals smoothly, noting that their commitment to the instructions was a key element in this success. Prince Saud expressed his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for their continuous support and guidance, as well as saluted the security, health, service sectors, and volunteers for their integrated efforts. Interior Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, confirmed that the approved plans for this season succeeded due to early planning, smart use of technology, continuous monitoring, in addition to the pilgrims' awareness and cooperation. The minister announced the start of preparations from tomorrow for next year's Hajj season. He pointed out that the participating entities efficiently fulfilled their roles, providing security, healthcare, and public services to all pilgrims regardless of their nationalities, which helped in organizing movement and mobility within precise timelines. Similarly, Major General Mohammed Al-Bassami, head of the Hajj Security Committee, stated that restructuring the security committees helped improve coordination and alignment between sectors, mentioning that the Hajj security forces will continue their work until the departure of the last pilgrim safely. On the ground, rushed pilgrims began stoning the three pillars on the third day of Tashreeq before heading to the Grand Mosque to perform the Farewell Tawaf, in a scene reflecting an organized and safe conclusion to the Hajj season.
